“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

What began as entertainment for long car rides with his mom has escalated into full on music artistry. One fated day Phillip Banks’, mom turns the radio to “One Day You’re Here” by UGK and the fire was ignited. With bright eyes on a dark night, Phillip Banks set his sights creating originally written music. To expose himself more to his target audience Phillip Banks took the colleges by storm. He went full fledge with promotion and marketing and built a strong organic fan base. Mixtapes was his niche. With persistent drops on Datpiff Banks progressed through titles that established his music rapport. His debut mixtape titled “Wingtips and Slacks” under his beginner name Original Phill set the tone. After releasing his debut, Banks retired the name “Original Phill” and coined the name Phillip Banks. He went on to release “Tailor Made”, “Late Night Hype”, “Issa Vibe”, “Wingtips 4rm the Summer” and “Player Season” all original works composed by himself. Growing as an artist, Phillip proceeded to give his fans what they needed- consistency. “I went from dropping mixtapes to now dropping singles to keep the people going.” In that energy, “All Booties Matter” was born. This upbeat single is a body positive anthem that women can celebrate their unique frames to. Sure to be the party song of the summer, Banks has been on tour with Lil Flip spreading love and celebration of women one stage at a time. Check out “All Booties Matter”, the visual, now playing on YouTube. Stay hip to Banks’ journey through all social media streaming platforms.
