February 20, 1997 Dallas, TX welcomed a visionary. Beginning with singing at the age of 9 and then rapping at the age of 11 Jay is not only an artist he is a true creative. Through life’s experiences Jay learned to channel his current situations into his music. He began to use film, fashion, and women as his muse. Jay’s Dallas, Texas upbringing introduced 808 & up-tempo music with heavy drums to his production process.
