Bred to pianist Charles Johnson Jr and singer Makietha Lockett White Diamond Johnson was born on August 31, 1995. Soon as she embarked on life’s journey she was stamped with the term “Diamond in the Rough”. Over the years Diamond ventured into many different facets of creative expression, and it was determined that she is indeed a “jill of all trades.” Through struggle, prayer, hard work and grace Diamond has evolved throughout the years from a college student to a diligent employee and entrepreneur to her favorite role of all being a mom. She has curated artist showcases and secured a feature and video with Sauce Walka for Springfield artist Rody ABM. Her latest success has been the assisting of the urban songstress D Savannah, with the creative and strategic planning of the rollout of her project The MUSETAPE. With Diamond’s innovation, the MUSETAPE is trending on audiomack. Additionally her debut short film “Set It Off” surpassed 35,000 views in under a month on YouTube because of Diamond’s innovative creative direction. It is a proven fact that Diamond is able to connect the dots whilst boosting an artist’s traction. Diamond’s exponential growth within the music industry is attributed to her strong prayer life and helper’s hand.
