Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, SanGeo discovered his passion for hip-hop at just ten years old. By 12, he was writing his own lyrics, and at 13, he independently released his debut mixtape, Don’t Sleep On Me, selling over 1,000 physical copies within his local community. His journey gained momentum with a show-stopping performance at his high school talent show, captivating an audience of more than 3,000 attendees.
Performing under the name "Yung Murk" early in his career, SanGeo released the acclaimed mixtape No Struggle No Progress in 2019. However, he later embraced his true identity and reemerged as SanGeo, a name that embodies his growth and authenticity as an artist.
